When and where will the Summit be held?


We are pleased to announce that the 2020 Georgia Bio Innovation Summit will be held VIRTUALLY on November 4 - 6, 2020! The conference will feature a mix of on-demand and livestreamed sessions, virtual partnering and live networking opportunities.

Who is the host of the Summit?


Georgia Bio (GaBio), the non-profit, membership-based organization that promotes the interests and growth of the life sciences industry. Learn more at www.gabio.org. Georgia Bio is a division of the Center for Global Health Innovation, an Atlanta based 501(c)3 organization that was launched in 2020 to bring together diverse Global Health, Health Technology and Life Sciences entities to collaborate, innovate and activate solutions to enhance human health outcomes around the world. At its core, CGHI orchestrates programs that promote cross discipline cooperation to strengthen capabilities, accelerate problem solving and respond to global health crises. CGHI supports its subsidiary organizations, Georgia Bio, Georgia BioEd Institute, Georgia Global Health Alliance and Global Health Crisis Coordination Center to bring to bear the best private sector and public sector capabilities and experience in times of need. How many years has the Summit run?


2020 will be the 19th Annual Summit. The only year the conference did not take place was in 2009 when the 2009 Biotechnology Industry Organization held its annual International Convention of which Georgia Bio was a local host.

We will be updating our agenda as our sessions are confirmed and the full 2020 agenda will be available late October 2020.




How can I become a conference speaker/moderator?


All session speakers and moderators will be selected through our call for sessions application process. Learn more.




How can I present at the poster sessions?


All poster session presenters will be selected through our poster session application process. Learn more.




How can I present at the Company Showcase, Innovation Stage, or PitchRounds?


All presenters for the Company Showcase, Innovation Stage, and PitchRounds will be selected through our application process. Learn more.




Will the panel presentations be available post-Summit? If so, where can I find them?


Certain sessions will be accessible to Summit attendees through the virtual platform through the end of December 2020. This is conditional upon if the presenter(s) approves the content being made available.
