When and where will the Summit be held?


We are pleased to announce that the 2020 Georgia Bio Innovation Summit will be held VIRTUALLY on November 4 - 6, 2020! The conference will feature a mix of on-demand and livestreamed sessions, virtual partnering and live networking opportunities.

Who is the host of the Summit?


Georgia Bio (GaBio), the non-profit, membership-based organization that promotes the interests and growth of the life sciences industry. Learn more at www.gabio.org. Georgia Bio is a division of the Center for Global Health Innovation, an Atlanta based 501(c)3 organization that was launched in 2020 to bring together diverse Global Health, Health Technology and Life Sciences entities to collaborate, innovate and activate solutions to enhance human health outcomes around the world. At its core, CGHI orchestrates programs that promote cross discipline cooperation to strengthen capabilities, accelerate problem solving and respond to global health crises. CGHI supports its subsidiary organizations, Georgia Bio, Georgia BioEd Institute, Georgia Global Health Alliance and Global Health Crisis Coordination Center to bring to bear the best private sector and public sector capabilities and experience in times of need. How many years has the Summit run?


2020 will be the 19th Annual Summit. The only year the conference did not take place was in 2009 when the 2009 Biotechnology Industry Organization held its annual International Convention of which Georgia Bio was a local host.

I’m speaking at the event. How do I register?


If you have been asked to speak at the Georgia Bio Innovation Summit, you will receive registration instructions from the conference program team. For more information, contact kforbes@gabio.org.




How can I make a change to an existing registration?


You can contact our team at admin@gabio.org for any changes to your registration(s).




I received a promo code. How can I apply it to my registration?


On the registration form, promo codes should be entered at the bottom of the first page where it asks for a coupon. If you experience any issues, please contact admin@gabio.org.




What is the cancellation policy?


Registration sales are final. Partnering will be available before and after the Summit and online sessions will be available to view at your own pace after the Summit. If you have any questions, please contact admin@gabio.org.




I am with the media/press. Do I still need to register?


Yes, complimentary registration is available for credentialed members of the news media. Click here for details. Media can register by emailing Kristina Forbes at kforbes@gabio.org.




Is there a benefit to being a Georgia Bio member?


Yes! Georgia Bio members save $100 per individual Summit registration. Not sure if your company is a Georgia Bio member? Simply inquire at admin@gabio.org.




Can I get a list of registered attendees?


Our registration list is not available for purchase. Beware of brokers claiming to have a copy of our attendee list. Emails from the Georgia Bio Innovation Summit staff will come from the domain “gabio.org”. If someone contacts you from an unfamiliar domain, please forward the email to admin@gabio.org to verify the source. The only way to contact attendees is through our partnering platform.




Do students get a discount or free registration?


Yes! Your registration is deeply discounted - please visit the registration page for details. We are offering a sponsorship level for organizations to sponsor students to attend for free. You can sign up on the wait list to receive a free registration. This will be a first come, first serve basis and is contingent upon receiving sponsorship.
